I have two calendars in the room but I never use them.
I can never remember the dates or they just seem to blur too fast.
They join together faster and faster everyday.
Sometimes, I think the pages flip past itself by it's own accord.

These past few weeks were just staying awake,
staying awake till the sun threatened me from it's cloud cover.
staying awake until the sky turned blood red.
staying awake until I can't take it any longer.
staying awake until my eyes are glued open with dried tears.
falling asleep is either an escape or a cheat route.
the rings under my eyes, the lies that i hid in my eye bags.
there are days when i just switch off and lie down,
i stare at the faded blue ceiling.
i count the days till they fall on me.
the gears in my mind are turning, turning, turning.
the thoughts keep me awake, buzzing, alive.
it has come to a point that i don't know whether i'm dreaming,
or whatever i think i'm dreaming is just me daydreaming.
hey there dreamcatcher.

rainy days are the best days ever.
hoodie loves and the fresh smell.
angry red lights and acidified life.
broken shoes and soaking bangs.
i walk home alone in the rain,
maybe i'm just wishing to forget.
drown my sorrows away,
dance in the mudpuddles
screaming laughing smiling.

jetset lives and little notes.
being alone isn't as bad as the world makes it out to be.
i'm in love with the biggest arse in the world,
and i hate myself for that.

wind in my hair,
scrapes on my arms.
point focus shoot.
city lights, lake reflections.
bicycle dreams and vegas nightmares.
get me electrified.
slurring fingers across the fret.
jarring noises and screeches.
skinnies black red.
razorblades.
dance parties.
november dreaming.

i am obsessed with the idea of folie a deux.
and the perfect imperfections.
and all the disorders.
i think lithium won't save me.
but i won't even give valproate a chance,
what about lithium.

i'll be your punk rock princess,
just promise to be my heroin. ♥

Quote of the month:

"…he was so full of wrath against grown-ups, who, as usual, were spoiling everything, that as soon as he got inside his tree he breathed intentionally quick short breaths at the rate of about five to a second. He did this because there is a saying in the Neverland that, every time you breathe, a grown-up dies; and Peter was killing them off vindictively as fast as possible."
